St. Anthony's Parish takes special care to prepare our young ones to partake in the First Holy Eucharist, which represents the very essence and zenith of our Catholic faith. This significant phase also encompasses the preparation of children for the sacrament of Reconciliation, a pivotal spiritual step.
First Reconciliation / First Holy Communion: The privilege of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is extended to all children, starting from the 2nd grade and beyond, who meet the following criteria:
Dedicated preparation for First Reconciliation will unfold on Sundays throughout the months of September to November. Subsequently, First Communion preparation will continue on Sundays during the months of January to March. Our sessions will take place from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM, following our Masses. Furthermore, we have thoughtfully planned two half-day retreats – one in the fall for First Reconciliation and another in the spring for First Communion.
For the enriching content and resources offered in these classes, there is a nominal fee of $40 to cover the cost of the required books. For detailed information and to secure your spot in the Sacramental Preparation program, we encourage you to reach out to Lisa Storemski at [email protected].
Should you require further clarification or wish to explore additional details, do not hesitate to contact us. We eagerly anticipate the privilege of supporting your child's journey towards these sacred milestones.
