Below is a traditional prayer of spiritual communion that many saints have prayed over the years.  It can be prayed if you find yourself at Mass unable to receive the Eucharist, or even in the midsst of your daily work, lifting up your thoughts to God.  In this season of virus outburst, especially if you cannot come to church to attend Holy Mass, it will be helpful to make an act of spiritual communion.

My Jesus, I believe that You are present
in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You
above all things, and I desire to receive
You into my soul. Since I cannot at this
moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already
there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from
You. Amen.
